Job overview and responsibilities
Ensures the aircraft mechanical interruptions (maintenance delays, cancellations and significant events) recording process is properly administered and in compliance with the General Maintenance Manual for Technical Operations and FAA reporting purposes.
• Investigates and reviews aircraft maintenance delay, cancellation, and significant events records
• Coordinates with Technical Operations departments, Line Maintenance, Network Operations Control and Airport Operations departments regarding aircraft maintenance delays, cancellations, and significant events
• Ensures aircraft maintenance delays, cancellations, and significant events are properly addressed and recorded per Technical Operations and FAA recording/reporting requirements in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual and federal regulations daily
• Ensures aircraft maintenance delay, cancellation, and significant event information is properly recorded and maintained in the Technical Operations Delay Management programs and United Data Hub (UDH) utilizing aircraft history, delay codes and documentation from other departments daily
• Compiles and distributes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as assigned by department management
• Assists the Assistant Manager and Manager of Maintenance Delay Management and performs additional tasks as required
