Job Summary
As a crucial part of our Cargo Express operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient planning of freighter aircraft loading, ensuring full compliance with weight and balance requirements. This role is key in supporting on-time performance and operational excellence for Amazon Air cargo flights. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across departments, and brings a sharp focus on accuracy and safety.
The expected pay rate is $23/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Perform aircraft load planning and weight & balance calculations to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Ensure compliance with all load control procedures, safety regulations, and internal quality standards.
- Monitor aircraft weight, balance, and trim to maintain operations within specified limits and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Support On-Time Performance (OTP) targets by delivering accurate load sheets and working collaboratively with operations teams.
- Coordinate closely with Ramp Operations, Cargo, and Operations Control Center (OCC) to ensure timely and safe aircraft loading.
- Participate in internal and external training programs related to Load Control and Ground Operations.
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trails of load plans, calculations, and flight data.

Your profile
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in the airline industry
- Valid drivers license
- Licensed Load Control Certification required
- Excellent math skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours
