Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of hands-on and digital training programs for manufacturing technicians.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
- Support the development and maintenance of the on-site training center.
- Deliver practical training sessions on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards.
- Employ a variety of training formats such as simulations, workshops, and on-the-job training to ensure skill retention.
- Document training processes, maintain accurate training records, and ensure compliance with SPL and Boeing training management standards.
- Develop and administer assessments to measure trainee competency and program effectiveness.
- Gather participant and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training quality and delivery.
- Partner with production management to identify workforce development needs and align training with operational goals.
- Ensure training programs comply with industry regulations and foster a safe, development-focused workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training or instructional design, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
- Proficient with training software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
