A Production Worker within the Wafer and Focal Plane Processing Department’s uncooled area must demonstrate a safety-first work routine, have a proficient understanding of the technical aspects associated with his/her assigned process and the ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues.
What You Will Do
A strong proficiency with microscope inspection and cleaning and handling of small die are required for this role.
Cognizance of ergonomic risk factors and the ability to establish a routine that includes micro-breaks and other techniques to mitigate ergonomic risk is required because the core of this role is inspection and cleaning under a microscope.
Coordinate workflow with co-workers and effectively communicate with engineering and management.
Participate in cross training activities.
Routine work is to be performed with minimal supervision.
This is a 1st shift, onsite position.
*Working hours for this position will be standard day shift (630AM-3PM).
What You Will Learn
The individual in this position will spend considerable time on a microscope inspecting and cleaning die.
You will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks in support of the wafer fabrication processes.
May include the operation of coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment and inspection tools.
Duties may also include operation of vacuum area equipment (evaporation, sputter, dry etch).
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing environment.
Experience in MS Office.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with semiconductor equipment to build hardware.
Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
Experience working with chemicals and raw production materials.
