- GMRE is currently recruiting for an Avionics Aircraft Technician. This position will be working on a traveling team starting at Nellis Air Force Base Las Vegas, NV and travel to various locations (through September 2028) and may be eligible for per-diem based on GSA.gov standards.
- The Avionics Aircraft Technician will perform maintenance and must possess knowledge of the electronic principles involved in a number of applications such as radar, data processing, navigation and data display.
- Interprets and advises on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment.
- Must have the ability to recommend methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be knowledgeable of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles relating to electrical systems, concepts, and application of maintenance directives.
- Ability to interpret the meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Must have the ability to properly handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.
- Possess the skill to remove and replace F-16 aircraft parts and accessories/components.
- Have the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established Technical Data Specifications.
