Background
The Fluid and Hydromechanical team plays a key role providing solutions through modelling of aircraft Landing Gear System. The team extends competencies in the area of Landing Gear Architecture and System Simulations. The job holder needs to support the new technologies and product development programs in an agile manner.

Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for LG (Landing Gear) system simulations. Job holder will also be responsible for providing insights of the simulation analysis to the designer&39;s community.

Key activities
● Design and develop various models pertaining to the LG Systems simulations perimeter.
● Support verification and validation of systems based on the system architecture through simulation tasks.
● Drive simulation topics on system level to improve model performance

Technical skills required:
● Good knowledge in typical system engineering simulation tools & languages
○ Python script for data pre-post processing
○ Matlab with focus on Simulink & Simscape
● Understanding of the version control
● Strong fundamentals on Fluid & Solid Mechanics
● Profound knowledge on Hydralic Systems modelling
● Experience in numerical modelling, 1D analysis methods and tools.
● Basics of Mathematical Modelling and optimization techniques
● Understanding of the Agile framework

● A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, science or equivalent combined with professional experience in modelling hydraulically powered mechanical systems and/or related components in the industrial, space, automotive sector or other domains.
● A proactive and highly motivated mindset with a great sense of initiative and the ability to work with teams
● Work autonomously and deliver on complex assignments
● Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills
● Knowledge of English language at a negotiating level; additional language skills in French/German/Spanish are considered a plus
