What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney is seeking talented and motivated students to join our internship program. As an intern, you will work on challenging projects and gain valuable experience in the aerospace and defense industry. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance the performance and safety of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and operations

• Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of aerospace components and systems

• Participate in cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects

• Conduct research and gather data to support engineering and manufacturing processes

• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Qualifications You Must Have

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering from an ABET accredited program (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related field)

• Strong academic performance and a GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• U.S. citizenship is required

Qualifications We Prefer

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Interest in aviation, Ceramics, and Operations are a plus

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
