Responsibilities - your mission:
We are pleased to offer a position within our Quality Engineering team.
As Business Quality Manager for the Engineering Systems Community or Engineering Propulsion Community, your main role will be to ensure the highest quality level of the engineering deliverables.
The final ambition is to improve Design Right First Time in order to prevent any issues throughout the aircraft life cycle. By accomplishing this objective, you will be proud to become an Airbus Key Player having a real impact on the quality of our product!
Main responsibilities:
Mindset / leadership / behaviour:
Be accountable to collaborate and connect with multi-stakeholders to ensure Quality standards adherence; You will be a strong support to Engineering leaders on Quality vision.
Be a key player in the Quality Transformation journey by spreading the Quality mindset.
Raise the voice of Quality in the multifunctional teams (MFT) in order to ensure that Quality is a key driver for performance improvement.
Take ownership to deploy Quality Standards within the MFT .
Learn continuously by being connected to Q community and share good practices.
Preventing Stream:
Deploy & operate Prevention tools (APQP, DFMEA) to deliver risk analysis and prevention plan .
Ensure Feedback loops & lessons learnt capitalization.
Adhering Stream:
Support Designers (awareness, coaching…) to ensure adherence to processes.
Coordinate Engineering Design Reviews (Ensure the Quality of deliverables in order to achieve targeted maturity, Guide panel members…).
Follow Design Review actions and support engineering where necessary to implement solutions.
Solving Stream:
Facilitate / lead Root cause analysis (& Practical Problem Solving) of main Product & Process deviations in order to propose prevention and corrective actions.
Define adapted quality measurements, reports and analysis of Systems Engineering non-quality items.
Develop Digital Solutions as an enabler for above activities.
