Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $88.92-$93.92/Hour

This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) overseeing Agile program execution, leading integration of hardware and software efforts using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI.
• Manage and optimize Agile Release Train (ART) flow and performance by coordinating across cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and engineering disciplines.
• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning events, driving continuous exploration and alignment with product vision, roadmap, and backlogs.
• Establish and maintain PI and iteration calendars, ensuring readiness and smooth execution.
• Collaborate with Deputy Program Managers of Engineering (DPMEs), systems engineers, and stakeholders across large solution programs.
• Develop mitigation plans to address task priorities, schedule risks, and evolving customer requirements.
• Contribute to overall RTE planning and implementation strategy in partnership with engineering leads and customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree + 6 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required by federal law.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Scrum Master, or Agile leader on large-scale hardware/software programs.
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and relevant Agile tool suites; experience customizing Power BI dashboards a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe frameworks and DoD acquisition processes.
  • Background in Space/Ground Systems, hybrid-cloud solutions, or large program integration highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, drive system-level thinking, and navigate complex program structures.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder negotiation and securing cross-functional alignment.
