The Boeing Company’s F-15/T-7/T-45 Estimating and Pricing team is seeking a Mid-Level Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the estimating team in Hazelwood, MO.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor, material, Other Direct Cost (ODC) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment may support Boeing Space and Security (BDS) or Boeing Global Services (BGS) proposal teams and a variety of internal and external customers.
This Experienced Estimating and Pricing specialist would primarily support F-15 and T-7 material estimates for the BDS business unit. Our BDS support includes completing estimates for production U.S Government contracts and Foreign Military Sales customers. There could also be an opportunity to cross train and support labor and material estimating tasks for the F-15, T-7, and T-45 Programs, all of which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The selected individual will support proposal development, customer negotiation, and contract settlement processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and afterspanet support stages of the program
Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices
Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Develops estimating and pricing methods
Evaluates and develops business cases
Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
Develops and maintains pricing models
Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements
Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
3+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing and Sales
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Working knowledge of Untied States Government (USG) Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations
Experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, estimating and pricing tools and processes
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a highly dynamic and diverse team environment with the ability to work across business units, functions and tailor communication to all skill levels within the organization
Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment and be highly responsive to the needs generated by the day-to-day activities of management and the organization

Summary pay range: $84,150 - $113,850
