Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage shop supplies, stock, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation maintenance and the ability to coordinate with lead mechanics for shopping, pricing, and purchasing parts.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving operations.
- Maintain shop supplies and stock levels.
- Create and close out purchase orders for billing purposes.
- Inspect incoming parts for any suspect parts.
- Coordinate with lead mechanics on shopping, pricing, and purchasing parts.
- Track core parts, red tag parts, and properly dispose of red tag parts.
- Ship freight and hazardous materials (hazmat certification will be provided if not already certified).
Essential Skills- Experience in purchasing and procurement.
- Aviation maintenance background.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Experience with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations.
- Ability to create and manage purchase orders.
- ERP system experience.
- Inventory management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in logistics and vendor management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Aviation experience preferred.
- MRO experience preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
