Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation parts handling and control, such as experience as an airline stores clerk or buyer, but we also welcome candidates with experience in automotive/industrial parts stores or other inventory management roles. If you are detail-oriented, organized, reliable and would enjoy working in a fast-paced aviation environment, we want to hear from you!
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic understanding of aircraft parts and maintenance operations (preferred but not required).
- Experienced in inventory management software/systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willing to learn.
- Highly organized with inventory, tasks, communications, and personal workspace.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. in accordance with OSHA guidelines, with assistance provided for heavier items.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when occasionally necessary
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
- Primarily based in an office environment with regular work in the stockroom/warehouse and frequent interaction within the hangar and with maintenance teams.
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
- Movement between buildings and sites with exposure to weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
- May require occasional travel to vendors, suppliers, or other operational locations.
