A&P Mechanic - Houston, TX!Job Description
We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic with at least 2 years of experience and an A&P license. While previous experience with Boeing aircraft is highly desirable, we are open to providing training to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within the scope of approval, returning aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and air carrier/manufacturer manuals, and document all work performed.
- Carry out line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carriers maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills- At least 2 years of experience on Boeing aircraft, specifically 767 and 737.
- Experience performing A checks, line maintenance, and servicing.
- Current valid drivers license.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.

Work Environment
Work involves line and hangar maintenance, with shifts from 19:30 - 07:30, 4 days on/3 days off and then 3 days on/4 days off. The role requires working near moving mechanical parts and around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals while exposed to loud noises. Employees will be exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
