QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for reviewing historical records of aircraft maintenance logs to establish accurate status of inspections, life limits, and maintenance tasks on multiple brands and models of most general aviation aircraft.

Responsibilities:
  • Audit work packages, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented.
  • Actively support and promote a quality- and safety-focused workplace culture.
  • Works with management on yearly audit planning.
  • Review audit findings and investigation reports to ensure root cause and root cause corrections are properly identified and addressed.
  • Review internal and external audit checklists for scope, depth and relevance to regulatory and industry requirements. Amend or create checklists as necessary.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating procedures of the Repair Station / Quality Control Manual.
  • Assist in maintaining the vendor audit processes, procedures and approvals.
  • Research all maintenance documentation for an aircraft to construct an accurate report of the condition of records and status (inspections, life limits, ADs, etc.) of a specific aircraft.
  • Review aircraft records to ensure they are complete, chronological, and note any potential damage history.
  • Inspect aircraft records, maintenance tracking information, and conduct necessary on-aircraft inspections to verify part numbers and serial numbers of critical components to ensure they match the records.
  • Assist with conformity inspections of aircraft.
  • Prepare applications for airworthiness certification (i.e., import, export, special flight authorization, special flight permits, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in the aviation field.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Operations in an aviation environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical procedures, and federal government regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail, strong integrity, and teamwork skills required.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional work in an aircraft hangar or production setting requiring protective wear.
  • Minimal physical effort; primarily sedentary work.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
