Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department. The Quality Inspector is responsible for the finalization of all work orders, first articles, and customer submittal documentation packages. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet purchase orders and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Verify incoming products to ensure they meet purchase orders and customer requirements.
- Check part marks for correctness, legibility, and location when applicable.
- Read engineering documents and understand part mark and general configuration requirements.
- Complete all First Articles and submit them according to customer requirements.
- Ensure work orders are filled out completely and all quantities are correct.
- Report deviations from specifications and requirements to the supervisor.
- Finish and complete first articles based on AS9102 and customer-specific requirements.
- Be familiar with the use and navigation of Net Inspect.
Essential Skills- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and internet software.
- Detail-oriented for documentation correctness.
- Familiar with the use and navigation of Net Inspect.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with inspection, quality inspection, blueprints, GD&T, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and FAIs.
- Experience in machined parts inspection, preferably with machine shop experience.
- Knowledge of CMM and Faro Arm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
