Structures Mechanic (UH-60 / SH-60 / CH-47)
We are seeking experienced Structures Mechanics to join a veteran-friendly aviation maintenance team in Northern Alabama. This long-term opportunity supports heavy battle damage repair, structural modifications, and maintenance on military rotary-wing aircraft, including UH-60 Black Hawks, SH-60 Seahawks, and CH-47 Chinooks. This position offers excellent earning potential, long-term stability, and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team.
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: Up to $42.00/hour
• Annual Earnings: Most contractors earn approximately $87,000–$100,000+ per year, depending on experience and voluntary overtime
• Per Diem: Up to $54,080 annually (tax-free), based on $1,040.00/week in tax-exempt per diem (eligibility dependent)
Contract Length
• Minimum 12-month commitment
• Long-term opportunity with strong potential for extension
Work Schedule
• 5/8 Schedule
• Voluntary overtime available weekly
Key Responsibilities
• Perform heavy battle damage repair and structural modifications on rotary-wing aircraft
• Conduct maintenance and repair of aircraft structures, components, and assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair procedures
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with military specifications and quality standards
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately
Qualifications
• Previous structures experience on military or civilian aircraft required
• Experience on UH-60, SH-60, CH-47, or similar rotary-wing aircraft highly preferred
• Ability to perform heavy structural repairs and modifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
