- Minimum of 15 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Minimum of 5 years of military aviation Maintenance Control or Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
- Capable of notifying and coordinating daily with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Extensive knowledge of MV-22 Osprey systems and maintenance procedures.
- Exceptional working knowledge of NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2), NALCOMIS/OOMA, and ASM.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in developing and providing contractor availability and non-availability schedules to the COR to identify any gaps in qualifications during shifts.
- Prior experience supporting a USMC Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) or training squadron.
- Prior Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) or Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) on MV-22 or similar platform.
- Experience with DECKPLATE, TDRS, or Naval Aviation reporting systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed.
- Must be able to climb on ladders if needed.
- Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
- Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions.
- Position may require working in a confined workspace.
- Position may require use/exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.
- Position is in a high noise area within an aircraft hangar/flightline environment.
- FIT for Duty Physical is required.
- May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals.
