This position involves TIG welding on turbine blades, focusing on creating the shell of the turbine. The role includes weld build-up and crack repair on aircraft engine turbine airfoil components. The job requires delicate (low amperage) welding on superalloy materials, where speed and quality workmanship are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on turbine blades.
- Create the shell of the turbine through welding processes.
- Conduct weld build-up and crack repair on aircraft engine turbine airfoil components.
- Execute delicate welding on superalloy materials with precision.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions in English.
- Complete visual wear and dimensional inspections as needed.
- Successfully complete welding certification tests.
Essential Skills- Three to five years of experience with AC TIG welding, preferably in aerospace or aircraft engine component repair.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions in English.
- Proficiency in visual wear and dimensional inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Experience in manufacturing ducts, welding, TIG, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Blueprint and schematic reading skills.
- Familiarity with LPT blades, manufacturing, blending, deburring, coating, and sheet metal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
