Summary and Objective
This role requires a specialized focus on the designated flyExclusive aircraft types, demanding a deep understanding of the unique technical aspects and regulatory requirements associated with each type. The Assistant Director of Maintenance is a key contributor to the overall airworthiness and operational success of the specific fleet under their purview.

Provide immediate technical support for maintenance issues reported by Maintenance Controllers related to the designated aircraft types.

Collaborate with maintenance control to address and resolve technical issues promptly.

Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic activities for the systems and components of the assigned aircraft types.

Analyze reported discrepancies and develop efficient solutions in coordination with engineering support.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the assigned aircraft types, staying updated on the latest technical information and updates.

Provide guidance on maintenance procedures, repairs, and modifications specific to the designated aircraft types.

Liaise with Maintenance Controllers to ensure smooth coordination between maintenance operations and flight schedules for the assigned aircraft types.

Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities for the designated aircraft types.

Collaborate with maintenance control and engineering support for comprehensive record-keeping specific to the assigned aircraft types.

Work closely with the Chief Inspector and Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for the designated aircraft types.

Participate in quality control checks during maintenance activities related to the assigned aircraft types.

Stay updated on training requirements for the assigned aircraft types.

Participate in continuous learning and development activities to enhance technical expertise specific to the designated aircraft types.

Must be available for on-call duty during specified periods to respond to real-time maintenance issues for the assigned aircraft types.

Ensure readiness to be dispatched to various locations for maintenance tasks related to the designated aircraft types.

Respond to real-time maintenance issues reported by Maintenance Controllers for the designated aircraft types.

Conduct on-the-spot troubleshooting for technical discrepancies specific to the assigned aircraft types.

Review and analyze aircraft logbook entries for the designated aircraft types.

Collaborate with maintenance control to plan and execute maintenance tasks for the assigned aircraft types.

Provide technical guidance to Maintenance Controllers and other maintenance personnel for designated aircraft types.

Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards for the assigned aircraft types.

Document and record all maintenance activities accurately in the maintenance tracking system for the designated aircraft types.

Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for periodic quality checks specific to the assigned aircraft types.

Participate in training sessions to stay updated on aircraft systems and procedures for the designated aircraft types.
