Responsibilities
Train, develop, and supervise the production planning team to enhance system operations.
Review work scopes thoroughly to understand repair and delivery objectives.
Coordinate with purchasing for timely material identification and ordering.
Ensure repair work orders align with engine scheduling requirements.
Collaborate with department supervisors to ensure resource availability and task completion.
Dispatch weekly progress reports to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Monitor inventory of critical parts and manage aging stock.
Strategize production schedules in alignment with Turn Around Time (TAT) goals.
Lead production meetings, focusing on critical paths and strategic planning.
Develop contingency plans to manage capacity surges and delivery targets.
Ensure readiness of all necessary parts, materials, and tools for execution.
Maintain strict adherence to FAA and quality standards.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
Partner with the assembly team to ensure timely engine deliveries.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Expertise in Quantum with effective systems usage skills.
Experience working with CFM56 or similar engine types in an MRO setting.
Minimum of 5 years in a role such as Production Planner or Coordinator.
