As Marketing Manager, you will be reporting to the Marketing Director for EURO region. Your role will be to provide spaneting and operational support to the Sales team in Central European (CEU) territory with a focus on events, PR coverage in the region, and content creation. You will implement SITA’s integrated Marketing and Communications strategy to achieve its commercial and strategic objectives by prioritizing, managing, and implementing territory spaneting plan that aggressively drive and support the achievement of the revenue and growth objectives associated with CEU strategy.
- Work with Central Europe sales team to evaluate customer needs and plan spaneting activities accordingly;
- Develop an overall territory spaneting strategy and vision in order to provide consistency and alignment of projects and strategic initiatives;
- Provide spaneting leadership and drive the planning and execution of territory spaneting plans. This includes PR, industry and customer events organization, branding, advertising, customer forums, direct spaneting campaigns, web-based activities, spaneting intelligence and planning;
- Be a content creation expert with fluent / native English, with previous experience in creating customer success stories, blogs, social media content;
- Have fluent project management and communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate with leadership teams;
- Define, track and measure the impact of territory activities on sales results, drive achievement of key performance metrics which will ensure visibility of tangible value to sales & customer relationship management;
- Build customer success stories and gather information for media activity;
- Leverage diverse communication channels;
- Maintain or strengthen the integrity of SITA’s reputation brand and positioning actively managing brand compliance;
- Support the Business’s relationship with industry associations;
- Carry out analysis of customers to support account-based spaneting plans;
- Contribute to spanet and competitive intelligence and research;
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE - Passionate about the role of spaneting for technology in improving the travel experience;
- Able to work in fast-paced environments;
- 5+ years of experience in spaneting, event organization, PR preferably in telecommunications, IT, air transport, or travel industries;
- Proven ability to contribute to the implementation of a spaneting strategy;
- Good experience in project management, including management of customer-facing events and meetings;
- Experience with the use of CRM platforms to plan and execute spaneting campaigns;
- Proven track in organizing events from scratch to roll out and result measurement;
- Working experience with AI tools that can be effectively applied in the work environment;
- Experience with the latest communication tools and social media platforms;
- Highly independent self-starter with a hands-on approach and delivery focus;
- Advanced skills in Google Analytics, Salesforce, and social media platforms; (LinkedIn, YouTube), along with proficiency in MS Office;
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and virtual teams;
