How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) We are seeking a Manager, Fly Delta responsible for leading a team of product managers who work to define and plan the launch of new features with the Fly Delta app. Working closely with cross departmental teams from Delta’s Commercial, Customer Experience, IT and Operational teams, this role will be responsible for strategies, initiatives, app product roadmap that increase revenue, NPS, loyalty, engagement and lifetime value. The successful candidate will have a passion for building exceptional digital experiences, mentoring others, and advocating for the Fly Delta app. The ability to translate long-term ambitions and goals into a multi-team and multi-year roadmap is a critical skill for this role.Responsibilities:Fly Delta App Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy for Fly Delta that seeks to constantly improve the customer experience and drive value to the organization. Partner and collaborate with other teams on cross functional app needs to increase app adoption and app engagement Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance on product best practices to ensure high-quality work and timely feature delivery. Foster a safe, collaborative and innovative environment. Act as an escalation point for defects and decisions.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to deliver a best in class app experience. Encourage an app-centric mindset across the organization. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in app build and design. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Strong knowledge of mobile app best practices, inclusive of UX,UI, and tech buildStrong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong influencing skills to help shape solutions and approaches among product teams to drive change and increase effectivenessEmbraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.Proven track record of successful delivery, meeting deadlines, and working with stakeholders in a cross-departmental team environmentProven ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment Strong written & oral communication skills, positive attitude, & able to manage change successfully Professional and courteous and must be able to operate as such under pressure in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Delta Air Lines and/or the airline industry, travel landscape and/or consumer behavior Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
