Job Summary

This Material Program Manager (MPM) role is responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of production and recertification contracts. As an MPM, you will be the liaison between the program and the supply base, working to ensure material requirements are met for a franchise production program.

What You Will Do:

• Development and implementation of material strategies

• Developing material forecasts and estimates at complete (EACs)

• Ensuring suppliers meet cost and schedule requirements

• Developing and implementing strategies to increase production capacity

• Supplier assessments

• Developing or supporting customer proposals/ROMs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant supplier experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• EVMS certification & experience supporting an EVMS contract

• Ability to lead managerial efforts, address issue, and resolve conflicts

• Financial acumen, the mechanics of strong supplier negotiations, and how to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunities.

• Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams

• Experience in managing suppliers or projects

• Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project)

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
