Boeing is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the spaneting efforts for our Technical Operations (Tech Ops) software and services portfolio in Seattle, WA. or Inglewood, CO.  This role will be pivotal in driving the value story, growth and spanet presence of our technical operations solutions within the aerospace commercial, business and defense segments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of product spaneting strategies, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for innovation in technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Be the expert on the product; collaborating with product management to define and shape the product strategy, ensuring alignment with spanet needs and business growth goals.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough spanet research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product positioning and spaneting strategies.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions  that resonate across Tech Ops user, choose and approver target buyer personas. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-spanet plans and strategies for new-to-spanet and legacy software and service solutions; including spanet segmentation, messaging, and positioning strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, growth spaneting and customer support.
  • Content Development: Create compelling internal and externally facing spaneting collateral, including physical and virtual product sheets, guides, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of the Tech Ops portfolio.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital spaneting initiatives, including product web pages, SEO, PPC, and social media campaigns, to drive awareness and lead generation for the Tech Ops offerings.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training materials, collateral and resources to effectively sell the Tech Ops portfolio. Conduct regular training sessions and provide ongoing support.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders. Gather feedback to inform product development and spaneting strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of spaneting initiatives; including but not limited to Contribution (Revenue, Adoption, Retention/Churn), Average Deal Size, Adoption Rate, Retention Rate, etc. Analyze data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of product spaneting experience, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technology products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spanet data and customer insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in digital spaneting tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, display, email and social media spaneting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for software/technology and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Significant product spaneting and development experience including proven experience in enterprise Tech Ops software product spaneting.
  • Deep understanding of spanet trends and product lifecycles
  • Firm grasp of ways to develop strategic product spaneting campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range:

Experienced: 124,950 – 169,050

Senior: 150,450 – 203,550
