Description:
The Program Manager will support the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. This role involves building and managing a team of supply chain experts located at 6 locations (CONUS and OCONUS), coordinating between various organizations, and developing solutions to parts availability issues. The Program Manager will have overall responsibility of the program and will collaborate with the Government on Strategic and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts aimed at improving the program and support of the Government customer. The Program Manager will also be responsible for delivering analyses, reports, and briefings to leadership, while ensuring effective cooperation and communication among stakeholders.
What you will be responsible for:
- Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts
- Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues
- Serve as the key liaison with the customer
- Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues
- Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics
- Monitor MCLC impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders
- All other duties as assigned
