The Value Stream Manager position is responsible for all manufacturing and facility related activities in support of Systems Integration Systems Center (SIC). The Value Stream Manager will report to the Site Manager and be part of the SMC leadership team for the overall direction and execution of delivering product, on time, at or below cost and in a safe environment. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas. The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles. This position will provide direct leadership and direction to Value Stream Leaders (VSLs) as a cross functional IPT. Through strategic leadership of the VSLs, the Value Stream Manager will be accountable for the overall performance of these Value Stream as well as the POC/conduit of information for coordination with the NWS product lines. The Value Stream Manager will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities and goals for the value stream. This person will lead, collaborate and influence functional managers and all employees to allow for continuous manufacturing flow, optimal production output, cost reductions, compliance, strategy and be accountable for cost, schedule, capital, strategy, employee hiring and proposals.
The Value Stream Manager will have significant dealings with both internal Raytheon Missiles & Defense customers and external customers. This position will also be accountable to ensure all aspects of the value stream are supported and successful including Quality audits, Security audits, facilities maintenance, EHSS, and key program communication. This area of responsibility also involves the spaneting of the facility as a Raytheon Technologies Company asset beyond its factory capabilities. It includes business development activities such as being the face of Raytheon Missiles & Defense to customer representatives, including DoD customers, congressional delegations, business development leaders, etc.

- Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow
- Prioritizes project issues and assists in the resolutions process to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirements
- Interact with support engineering, supply chain, and quality with respect to project schedules
- Provide the required resources (facilities, processes, equipment, training, etc.) to ensure all employees work in a safe working environment
- Provide communications as directed or required by higher level management to ensure employees are aware of pertinent organizational or customer information
- Ensure compliance to all pertinent operating procedures and work instructions
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience.
- Factory or Shop Floor Management Experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
