Schedule: 9x80 (Every other Friday off!)
Pay Rate: $25.25 – $30.42 per hour

In this role, you’ll be assembling critical mechanical systems—like antennas, waveguides, and filters—that help drive some of the most advanced technologies in the skies today. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will:
Assemble passive microwave components using hand tools in a secure, controlled environment.
Perform both repetitive and unique mechanical assembly tasks on high-precision parts.
Work with antennas, filters, frames, and waveguide assemblies.
Follow technical drawings, detailed work instructions, and routing documents.
Use measuring tools to trim and inspect components to within ±0.002 inches.
Work under a microscope and mix/apply epoxies with accuracy.
Manually tighten ¼ inch bolts to specified torque values (up to 120 in-lbs).
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and remain seated or standing for 4+ hours as needed.
Ensure each assembled product meets rigorous quality and defect-free standards.
What You BringBasic Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or automotive/equipment repair.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks seated or standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer skills for documentation and workflow tracking.
Experience with soldering or torch brazing.
Strong written and verbal communication and basic math proficiency.

Pay Details: $25.25 to $30.42 per hour
