Job Title: MachinistJob Description
The Machinist will work in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop responsible for creating precision details. The primary responsibility is operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines, which includes reviewing N/C code, setting up tooling, and performing all machining operations. Training will be provided, and you will work with a variety of materials, including plastics, composites, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
Responsibilities
- Operate 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines.
- Review N/C code and set up tooling.
- Perform all necessary machining operations.
- Operate a manual vertical mill, brake press, bandsaw, and basic shop tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
- Follow manufacturing process plans.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in manual machining, blueprint reading, and understanding engineering drawings.
- Experience with mills and lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM or 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. As the business is growing, there are opportunities to engage in multiple projects within the facility, providing a stable and diverse work experience.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
