Wire Harness Assembler – Contract-to-Hire $22–$26/hr (DOE)We are seeking Wire Harness Assemblers to support a growing production team. This role involves assembling wire harnesses, cables, and related components according to detailed instructions and quality standards. Ideal for candidates with experience in wiring, electronics, or precision assembly.
Pay: $22–$26/hr (DOE)Schedule: Full-time, on-siteInterview: 45-minute interview + brief hands-on testKey Responsibilities- Review and verify traveler documentation (part numbers, revisions, quantities)
- Inspect materials for defects or damage
- Cut, strip, and prep cables
- Load connectors, apply labels, and complete heat shrink tasks
- Assemble wire harnesses using assembly boards
- Follow detailed written/verbal instructions
- Complete and sign off work orders
- Package materials and maintain accurate identification
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols
Required Skills- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment
- Experience using stripping/crimping machines
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good vision and hearing
Preferred Experience- Wire harness assembly, wiring, labeling
- Soldering, blueprint reading
- IPC‑620 familiarity
- Electronics, aerospace, or aviation experience
- Mechanical assembly and schematic interpretation
