Theres the unique opportunity to lead the way in aerospace and defense and contribute to creating a safer and more sustainable world.Job Summary:Cleans and prepares aircraft interior structures and parts for shipment.Summary of Duties:Removing dust, finger prints, excess adhesive, paint or adhesive overspray with various cleaners compliant for use on interior products.Applies touch up painting of units while still maintaining product configuration.Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.General Notes:oMust carefully and safely handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.oAll employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of all company products.oAs business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.oTasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.The expected salary range for this position is between $20.24/hr - $22.49/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law

Job Requirements:

Level 2 Qualification:Education:High school diploma or equivalent Experience:4-5 years of experience.Computer Skills:Not required.Description:Mid/Experienced level position within field.Other Skills:•Requires some experience within discipline and solid working knowledge of subject matter•Handles moderately complex issues, escalates more complex issues to higher level staff•Performs work under general supervision with little latitude for independent judgment •The ability to read and write English at a comprehensive level is necessary for successful job performance. •Good hand/eye coordination a must.•Requires sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements.•Must be able to self-inspect work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner.•Must meet or exceed current training requirements.•Previous experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)oAbility to provide peer review and oversight to junior Production Associates as needed.oAbility to write routine reports and correspondence. Working Conditions:1.Does require fluent communication in English language.2.Employment Status may be part-time, full-time, or temporary.3.Traveling may be required.4.Protracted or irregular hours may be required.5.Relocation to another Safran facility may be required.
