Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper/Maintenance professional responsible for the upkeep of the outdoor areas surrounding four buildings in the North Cargo area at SEATAC Airport. This role includes maintaining bushes, small trees, grass, picking up trash in the parking lots, performing basic repairs, and painting the exteriors of buildings. You will use a powered work cart to move tools and supplies around and report to the main building office, consulting daily and weekly checklists and projects, and working with the onsite operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the outdoor areas surrounding four buildings in the North Cargo area at SEATAC Airport.
• Perform landscaping duties including trimming bushes, small trees, and grass.
• Pick up trash in the parking lots.
• Conduct basic repairs and painting on building exteriors.
• Use a powered work cart to transport tools and supplies.
• Consult daily and weekly checklists and projects.
• Work closely with the onsite operations manager.

• 1+ years of landscaping/groundskeeping related experience.
• Experience using tools for basic home or building repair, or construction.
• Must be eligible for SIDA badge
• Valid Drivers License.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs to the main office, and spend most of the shift standing or walking, sometimes crouching for cleaning.

• Experience in cleaning, landscaping, housekeeping, sweeping, and custodial work.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors with some work inside the office and shop area. The shop is large enough for breaks, storing all parts and supplies, and includes a private bathroom. The work schedule is from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in shift days and times. Parking is available on-site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.

No benefits offered; hence the 2/hr fringe benefits offered as part of hourly compensation
