Job Description:
We are looking for an Industrial Cost engineer to join our Airbus GBS in Lisbon!
Being part of a transnational team located in Hamburg, Toulouse, Getafe, Lisbon, Broughton and Filton.
The technical perimeter for the position will cover Jigs, Tools, Machines and the OpEx associated.
MFVT operational team is involved in the Airbus CapEx Process by defining the Target Must price, CapEx Dossier signature and Industrial trade studies signature.
Will be responsible to do cost estimations for industrial trades, validate CapEx amount and guide Procurement negotiations.
The estimation will be done based on all program needs for new development, new aircraft derivatives, ramp up, obsolescence, plants needs and future programs.
Provide technical guidance to Procurement in the Call for tenders, claims,...for Machines, Jigs and tools workpackages.
Guide cost engineers in the Industrial estimations.
Develop, implement and document costing models and references for the Industrial Non Recurring Costs “NRC” regarding OpEx and CapEx (Jigs, Tools, Industrialisation, Machines,..). These models and references are used across the Airbus organization in both the early design phases as well as in supplier negotiations for fully defined work packages.
Harmonize Industrial models and references for all cost engineers across all the airbus plants.
Improve the models based on feedback from users, industrial needs with benchmark solutions.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Airbus Industrial (Jigs and Tools, Machines) Costing knowledge of current and future technologies.
Different interfaces with Multifunctional teams would be required like procurement, plants, programs, operations.
Scope is Airbus operations, Airbus Atlantic and Airbus Aerostructures for all Civil Programs.
Requirements:
A good level of English is mandatory.
Strong experience in Jigs and tools and/or Machines is requested.
Good communication skills.
Self organized and autonomous.
Strong motivation.
Proactiveness.

Transnational mindset.
Open minded.
General project management skills are recommended.
Any knowledge in manufacturing processes would be recommended like Machining, Sheet metal forming, Forging, Casting, Composite (ATL, FP, RTM, LRI, Hand Lay up), 3D printing and Assembly process (at Work Package, Constituent Assembly and Final Assembly Line levels).
