About us:
The role will sit within the UK Managing Director (MD) and Country Head team, working as a key member of the MD&39;s private office. The private office supports the UK leadership team, in the smooth running of the business and driving alignment across the organisation on the strategic priorities.
What you will be doing:
During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include:
Sitting within the CoS office of the UK Managing Director, the post holder will report to the Chief of Staff to the UK’s Managing Director and will be responsible for MD communications and specific UK project activity including but not limited to:
Organisation of annual UK Leadership Roadshows. Including room booking, drafting invitations, creating slides and organising pre-brief sessions.
MD office support. Including the preparation of meeting papers and collating the UK inputs for the MD’s weekly and monthly reports.
Drafting of social media proposals for LinkedIn. Including the forward planning on the strategic grid to identify key opportunities to engage with an LI audience. Content to be proposed includes image capture, draft posts and working with media services teams to create infographics.
Event support. The post holder will support key UK marketing and KAM events with organisational support as required.
Strategic Campaign support for Politics Pillar teams as required. Including the co-ordination of the UK Strategic Campaign Grid.
Key relationships
Due to the communications nature of the role, the post holder will work closely with the communications and marketing functions to ensure all activity is agreed and in line with the overall positioning.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
Studying towards a degree related to Communications, Media, International Politics and Content Marketing;
Ability to use G Suite;
Ability to write content in different formats - suitable for the web, social media and media releases.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
