Aircraft Painter in Huntsville, ALJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Aircraft Painter to work on UH-60, SH-60, CH-47, and AH-64 programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for coating surfaces of the aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other materials using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices. Additionally, the role involves removing old paint from aircraft using liquid paint remover and a scraper.
Responsibilities
- Coat surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other materials using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices
- Remove old paint from aircraft using liquid paint remover and a scraper
- Read blueprints for layouts
- Perform Class A finishing and media blasting (stripping)
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting
- Ensure high-quality finishes using conventional spray guns or HVLP spray guns
Essential Skills- 1+ years of experience painting aircraft
- Experience with paint preparation
- Ability to use rollers, brushes, and spray guns (conventional or HVLP)
- Experience in media blasting (stripping)
- Ability to read blueprints for layouts
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Bead blast experience is a plus
- Open to working 1st or 2nd shift
- Air Force veterans with AFSC of 2A753 or 2A7X3 are encouraged to apply
- Paint/Corrosion certifications, training, and experience in the military are a bonus

Work Environment
The work environment includes an air-conditioned facility and paint booth. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends available as needed. There are opportunities for overtime. The facility ensures a comfortable and efficient working condition to perform high-quality aircraft painting tasks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
