JOB SUMMARY:
The Parts Sales Associate (PSA) is a lead generation and prospecting role within the Parts Sales organization. The PSA plays a key role in generating new business and building relationships with our customers and/or potential customers. The PSA will be responsible for tactical day-to-day responsibilities and significant project assignments as assigned by the Vice President and/or Director of Parts Sales. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The PSA will provide sales support to the assigned parts sales regions. This support includes (but is not limited to) the following:
Quote creation and follow-up (where applicable)New Capture and Low Visit lead generationNew opportunity creation and administrationCoordination with New Aircraft Sales and Field Service Engineering teams where applicableCollaborate with internal support and distribution teams to resolve customer issuesSalesforce.com opportunity administration
Communicates extensively with prospective customers regarding Textron Aviation parts.Represents the region in conjunction with or in lieu of the regional Parts Sales Manager.Identifies opportunities to develop and increase Textron Aviation parts sales business through spanet analysis and continuous dialogue with sales personnel and customers.Reports significant trends to sales management and recommends specific actions as appropriate.Uses a variety of spaneting techniques to secure sales for Textron Aviation including site-based visits, telespaneting, and written correspondence. Utilizes and maintains Textron Aviations CRM platform Salesforce.comIdentifies and generates sales leads through various means of contacting new capture and low visit customers and in partnership with regional parts sales teams.Coordinates and hosts customer visits, tours, and represents Textron Aviation at trade shows and events as assigned.Remains current with aviation industry and financial spanet news to maintain an awareness of issues likely to impact customers and potential customers.Continuously researches spanet within the identified territory to identify prospective customers.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree required.Sales and/or spaneting experience preferredAviation experience is preferred QUALIFICATIONS:
Sound business acumen.Excellent communication skills (written and oral)Professional appearance and demeanorMotivated and self-directed to deliver high quality results.Strong analytical, financial and computer skillsTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsCandidate must be willing to travel 25-50 of the time in associated spanets.
