What you can expect as a Salesforce Administrator Instructor at West Star:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Salesforce Administrator. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to the Chief Customer Officer and Sales Team to maintain and configure Salesforce to support business needs. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage and optimize our Salesforce environment. This role ensures system integrity, supports users, automates business processes, and drives CRM best practices throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is professional, proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a hybrid (Remote/Onsite) role at one of major sites, 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday (may vary).
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
Salesforce.com/CRM
- User Management:
- Create and manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.
- Provide support and training to users.
Data Management:
- Perform regular data imports, exports, updates, deduplication, and backups.
- Maintain data integrity and cleanliness across objects and fields - user accounts, duplicates, contacts, emails, parent/child relationships, etc.
System Configuration:
- Help direct customization with IT in Salesforce using point-and-click tools (objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows).
- Determine appropriate dashboards and reports with IT for departments and executives.
Automation:
- Recommend and maintain automations using Process Builder, Flows, and Approval Processes.
Security and Access:
- Manage field-level security, sharing rules, roles, and permission sets.
- Monitor login access and system usage.
Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for users.
- Liaise with IT, Salesforce Support or development teams when necessary.
Documentation & Training:
- Document system configurations, processes, and policies.
- Deliver training sessions and create user guides.
Integration Management:
- Support integrations with third-party applications like Outlook, DocuSign, HubSpot, etc.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure Salesforce usage aligns with company policies, security standards, and industry compliance requirements.
Regular and timely attendance along with working onsite every working day is essential.
Work closely with the Chief Customer Officer, Business Development Manager and Sales Team to ensure positive user experience and efficient data processes.
Ability to travel (minimal expected).
Other reasonable job duties as assigned.
